Rhododendron success!

Last year enhancing the beauty in a lovely garden in Bayside, Brooklyn, my client asked me to replace a rhododendron that was looking very scrawny and eaten up by slugs or whathaveyou and so I did. When I removed it from the garden, I thought…hmmm…there’s life in this rhodo yet and decided to plant it in a container….Well, this year I did a spring clean up, I noticed the scrawny rhodo was growing quite well and so I transplanted it into yet another (larger) terracotta container and voila! My client sent me an email with “success” as the subject matter.  I was thrilled to see the blooms~!
